That's what I run in the crawling slash which works good even given the limited gear ratios available for a slash.

ran a few of those. gear low and you should avoid any heat issues. That's what I was running in the ford and the wraith at one time. I may toss it in the ascender before sunday. the trackstar has the groaning thing going under load. drives me nuts.

Thanks to rc4wd coming out with a blazer body I now have the chevy emblem I've been looking for. I don't need the k5 blazer ones so if one of you guys want them you can have them.

I made a deal with my wife, you can have my tax return as long as you dont complain when I buy Rc stuff the rest of the year.

My ascender kit shows up tomorrow.

Blasphemy!!!!!
I think you must be ill......
I figured sure as hell you were gonna say Bronco...

The saving grace is that you can always scrap the "C" word lid and put on a real body!

Sorry, couldn't resist teasing you!

If it had been a 80's bronco ide been all over it. I already have a k5 body form the first ascender, with the flat iron xl's it look kinda bad a$$. So I have another set of flat irons. These wheels are coming.
Its going to be all silver. I have warn hubs and mickey Thompson rear hubs coming. MMP and Tekin Redline 17.5, Light kit, Dinky rc interior, and ci foams coming as well.
The wait is killing me...then on top of it I have to put the whole thing together.
No worries Rob lol. now I have 1 Chevy 1 dodge and 3 Fords.

That's gonna be sweet!!!
In school all of my friends were staunch Chevy guys and I was the lone Ford fan, so I just can't resist making fun of Chevys.
Truthfully, they are all man made.... therefore they are all junk, no matter what name brand they are!!!

Oh yah all the big bad, daddy bought my truck guys. Drove chevys. Ive always been a mopar man. But i hold the ford close too. because im old enough that Bigfoot will always be king of the monster trucks. And all these companies that make lids. Deprive me of the 70s dodge body i would kill to have.

Finishing up the Honch axles: SSD tubes, SSD C's, SSD knuckles, STRC uni's, SSD wheels and SSD steering linkages. The knuckles allow ALOT more steering angle, SSD is releasing uni's that allow up to 50 degrees of steering, had I know that I would have waited and tried those! Two minor set backs though, the wheels rub the knuckles (remedied with the dremel, but shouldn't have had to....) after I did one side I found if you use a wraith hex there's enough clearance....ARGH!
And second my faithful OLD Milwaukee 2.4v driver was laid to rest, this ole guy has built many air planes and numerous trucks :(
