Work seems to take forever when you have a kit at home waiting to be assembled....

So, I've been taking the ZJ-10 with me to work for the last few days in hopes that I'd end up somewhere I can crawl on my lunch break.

Today we were 1/4 mile from Land's End on Bailey's Island.

I got in a short crawl. It's not that great down there, but I suffered through it. Lol

About 15 minutes into my crawl, I lost the idler gear....

Awesome Troy!
It's already fixed, I stole an idler gear from a spare tranny.

But I will take you up on that offer!

75% sure we'll be there!

I really can't complain, it's almost 2 years old and I've never had the gearbox apart.
Poop occurs! LOL

Progress.. I should be done by Sunday. I may make it for an afternoon run. If you guys are still there. My morning may be busy.

Edit: I was missing 1 part of one tree. The mount attached to the transfer case. So only 1 screw coming through the skid plate at the moment.
Replacement is in the mail soon.

Got a few items.
RC Rock Armor recovery hitch.
SSD rod ends. As cheap or cheaper than Traxxas. No ball ends you can't use either. All the right size.
Coolest item was the MytrickRc light kit. A bit expensive, but it was so easy.
I got two light bars, headlights, fog lights, brake lights, and amber lights.
4 brightness settings. Has ability to do backup lighting as well.
I plan on adding a pair of white lights for reverse.
Video shows what I'm talking about.
You can change the brightness with your radio or a button hard wired.
I ordered a 6 channel RX to run my stuff. I am already using all 3 channels with my winch. Can't use both simultaneously. Thus, the button.

Ordered up 2 GCM diff inputs for the ascenders. Still cant believe the used rig hasn't broken this part yet. But the kit one with 4 or 5 runs on it shattered that easy. Been tinkering with the street demon, my heavily modded 2wd slash turned street outlaw. made the jump to 3s today. totally have to re-dial the car in. even turned down to 3/4 power. blows the tires off it and 10 feet later does a huge "CROW" like death roll. glad its a long weekend. 2 more days of tinkering to go!
