Finished the servo winch. Stole one of my 6ch Rx from the scx 10.2. have 2 on order but I'm impatient.
Got all the channels working with correct endpoints etc..
Needed a 6ch for the servo winch and a BEC. Works great.

Switched out the bumper for durability / clearance / winch line placement. Not my favorite bumper, but it'll do..
Also got the light bar wired in. Next project is bucket LEDs. The body has 12 slots for LEDs. Odd sizing though. Not 5mm and not 3mm. So some finesse and shoe glue I think.

If anyone wants the transmitter settings for a flysky gt3b let me know. It's a bit complicated.
I may even do a write-up of video later, if there's demand.

Added magnets to hold body clips to a few trucks. Put decals on the TRX and SCX10.2
Adjusted rear bumper for Toyota body.
I will design and 3d print some light buckets for the 4Runner body. Perhaps a roof rack, IDK.

Has anyone here ever cut a section out of a mip drive shaft and welded it back together? Nick pointed me to the MIP for the yeti for its length. I needed really long ones to fit the FORD, rather sick of the squeaking of the GDS shafts. And the pins falling out. The rear was a dead hit. No modifying needed ,the front however is about an 1/8" too long. so I cut some of the outer splined shaft off. BUT!!!!! unknown to me the inner splined shaft does not have splines all the way to the end. so it goes on and im not catching enough spline to feel comfortable running it as is. Just wondered if anyone has done such a thing. I know there's a few welders here. What say you ?

I've never tried it but if you get a spare shaft I think I can do it.
