Default What are you working on??

I decided to try my hand at some custom built rock sliders. Some 3/16 steel rod and a mig welder, so far so good,I think.

So, after I basically ruined the Bronco body trying to paint it, I decided to just take it off the SCX-10 and use the Subaru Impreza body from my HPI RS4 Rally because I like the paint job I did on it when it was new(2 decades ago...).
It's pretty badly beaten and has lots of road rash, but I still like it.

I had to do some serious trimming(obviously) in the front and a little in the back.
The wheelbase is off and it sits arse-high, but whatever... LOL

Crappy cell phone pics:

Where is the hobby store you went to? Is it anywhere near North Conway? I'm going there the weekend of the 29th.

Right now ive got the ford lowered and sitting on 1.9s with a traxxas velineon and the sw3 I took out of the TH. Hope to have the wraith running for this weekend. as long as the mail is on time. Come to find out I didn't cook the 17.5 after all. it was the tekin rs was on its way out. Down side of buying used. Cant wait for sunday sunday SUNDAY!!!!! See you guys then!

Made Custom extended SCX10 Front links for a better approach angle.

Finally got started on the bed for my custom scx10 axle'd truck. This will be my recovery / plow truck again this winter.

Checked over the Wraith and Chevy Scx10. All good to go.

Considering lengthening the links on the Ford flatbed for better approach angles.
Painted the bed.
