Just a FYI...
Photobucket sent me, as well as many others, a lovely email letting me know that if I want to keep using "3rd party image hosting" I would have to pay $400 a year..

Ya...me too. I have tons of photos on RCC that are no longer viewable. I'm pretty pissed off about it and sent them an email...no response yet.

I just got the same email today. I have been using them for years. I guess this will no longer be the case because I will not be shelling out $400/year to display pics.

Trying to use direct linking with Google Photos.

They work for me. I don't know if you guys can see them.

The link that shows the how to. I have tried this method before. It didn't work for everyone, which is why I got Photobucket in the first place..

It's crazy they're doing themselves of major disservice.. Honestly if they asked me for $20 to host my 3rd party images per year I'd do it but 400 yeah right

Microsoft OneDrive seems to be working fine. App is great, you can resize too.

It's not a scam, all of my links are broken now, on this forum and several others. I have been using Photobucket since they first started and have about 48G of photos stored there. They are all backed up here on physical disk, so no worries about losing them, but it will take days, if not weeks, with my connection to re upload them all to a new host.

You will.. it happened to me too.. although PB is asking 5.99 a mo. Or 59.99 a yr for 3rd party images hosting . That's the lowest price I've seen...
F*** that.... hopefully PB will rethink their policy change.. Or at least their price for 3rd party images hosting.

I'd be willing to pay 1.00$ mo just my 2cents.
