I'm running the rock claw's I have had good luck with them but I am gonna try hpi's with my new 2009 rig"thumbsup"

CronusTRD 11-20-2008 03:38 PM

I've run Moabs, and now trying Panthers. I don't think I am going to like them since there is ZERO sidewall traction, but I'll try them anyway.

My moabs are getting narrowed for a 1.9 rig out of my TLT parts.

I like the panthers."thumbsup"

What tires took the money home last sunday????

MDcrawler72 11-20-2008 07:48 PM

My rig (Pics up in a few days) came today and it has panthers. I was looking at proline hammers or the new rock claws from HPI.

Thanks, Steve

i was pretty happy with my rock claws,
but there were a bunch of tires out there that worked out at dougs place.

Rock claws
Badlands
Panther Cougers
all work well

K Riccardi 11-21-2008 07:27 AM

The Rock claws work very well but they are 2 short. Not worth the trade off 2 me.

The Panthers climb very well but have no sidewall support.

The new tires yongblood has seem to work well also.

megacabcummins 11-21-2008 07:53 AM

I have the Panthers, but I think I am going to switch to the Rock Grabbers... I want more clearance for the diffs.

bullet1231 11-21-2008 09:44 PM

theres a reason why people use panthers and rockclaws.

youngblood 11-22-2008 05:10 PM

theres a reason people are switching to grabbers and rovers.

speedemall 11-22-2008 07:02 PM

I run pro line hammers"thumbsup"

I'm running the Imex Rubicons there 5.5" for good clearance, but the compound is a littie stiff. Ive still had good luck with them, O yeah there is no memory foam big enough for them so I had to do some cuttn.:badger:
