Yeah, what a piece of junk... :ror: I think when I order a replacement for that axle housing I broke Sunday, it will be Aluminum and the motor will mount on the axle, hint - hint.

I had to take that gate because I couldnt get over the ledge on the other side of my beetle. I need to raise my ground clearance a 1/4 inch. I get hung up on the belly way to much. Its currently at 2.5 inches of clearance.

Cronus, I cant see your pic, but if its the carpet covered plywood A frame, its 62 degrees, and no, I didnt make it. :x

So was the issue traction, or just breakover?

I need to recess my transmission screws. They are fine for natural obstacles, but trying to slide over anything with a straight edge (like a 2x4), it can get hung up.

Traction was fine, and if I had been able to get all the way to the top (I made it a 1/4 of the way up), I think I could of throttled over the edge. My issue was torque twist. The front right would start to lift, and over she would go. I need a stiffer spring in the left rear.

oh, so you need DROOP :D
