I got a little cash for christmas, so im thinking about Dig....

So what is needed, what is suggested ?

DNA Dig - $75
Mini Servo - $25
Dig Drive shaft - $35

New Radio ? I have the TQ3, with this switch... can that be wired up for the dig servo ?

Aj I ran my DNA for a while with that radio you have to hold the switch down for 4 wheel drive up for dig and in the middle or resting position is free wheel rear. I think it harder on the servo though because you wont have end point adjustments ( EPA's) to stop the servo from moving it's full stroke.

I use a junk full size servo. You could cut down the metal shaft you have now.

I used mine for a while with the TQ3 and it did work fine. It was a pain to get the servo horn and linkage ajusted just right.

JUNK?!?!

I agree, having a radio with end point adjustments makes it 100% easier. I like the route Kane took, buy a used dx3 w/ rec. for around 100 bucks, and modify it with a 3 position switch.

The standard ones are 2 long. You can have one shortened or buy the short one.
