Don't you Maryland boys have your own website or forum to discuss local crap, away from RCC like the rest of us? Then no need to worry about these Mods doing their job.

Wait, I'm confused....is there or isn't there a sale going on here?:-P

I thought Freetime was very courteous in his first post, and the reason he posted it(instead of a PM) was so that everybody would see it and understand how to go about it properly.

I was just doing my job when I infracted Cronus, I don't make the rules, I just help enforce them. What Badger does is up to him.

Maybe we should come up with a 200 page set of Forum Rules that would cover every little loophole that people might think of, but who would read them then. Maybe some rewording is in order, but that is not up to me.

We have a Classifieds section for a reason, and there is a reason for posting ads in that section, it's called common sense. I know it sucks to have to wait for threads to be approved, but there's a good reason for that to be in place, to protect everybody from scammers

Simple infractions like the one I gave Cronus are like a slap on the wrist, not a big deal, they serve the purpose of alerting the person that they have stepped out of bounds, but if they are ignored, then they get serious.

Some Mods can be real meaners, Freetime is not one of them, just don't push his buttons or you will wake the bear

Back to your Berg discussions.

Not that any of you care about what I think........I never did try the dual ESC setup while I had a Berg, but I was more than happy with 1 ESC and dual switches for F/R dig when I did run one

If I'm ever in the MD area visiting family, I'll have to try to hit one of your comps

I do not expect you (or the other mods) to repremand every one that acts inappropriate.

When they do it in a thread that you and most of the other mods have read I would hope something more would have been done. It would be nice to set a example for everyone not just those of us with a low post count.

Shake that bear...

Scammers?!? I think any idiot can tell the differance between Cronus trying to hook us locals up and a Nigerian trying to sell us a Lamborghini.

Ok, so maybe we werent within your rules trying to take care of eachother first, but your rules are SHIT. The Scammer excuse is weak. You guys are just a bunch of no life control freaks that love to have your little conniving fingers wrapped around every little action that takes place here.

We are paying you guys for whatever reason (maybe not the mods, not sure why?) and I think a little respect in return isnt asking too much.

I don't know how you were raised, but respect is earned, not bought. And you sure haven't earned any from me.

The rules are put in place by the owners. If you don't like them, maybe you should start your own crawler forum?
Or go hang out at Clodtalk.com

What your paying for is bandwidth, any idea what a site like this costs to run? Obviously not.

As far as being "no life control freaks" all I can say about that One is

Sorry, but we (mods) all have real jobs, wife's, kids, and other hobbies.
Babysitting whiny fawkers on the Internet isn't how we get our kicks, no matter what you may think.

As far as the classified rules and scammers go, again, think what you want, but this site has been around 5 years, we know what works for us.

Do you think calling the mods "no life control freaks is showing respect?
Maybe you should practice what you preach

As far as "having our convining fingers wrapped around every little action that takes place around here"
On a forum, thats called moderation, and thats our job.

Youngblood, honestly, if you do not like it here, go away. 28,323+ other members do not seem to have a problem.

For starters, Nobody would have been band because some mod's feelings were hurt. You guys want to be pirate so badly, grow some thicker skin. Bands should be for scammers and true trouble makers. This infraction system is childish, and isnt even used properly. If it were, two of the MD members wouldnt be on vacation right now. You guys are breaking your own rules.

Ive been told before "this isnt a democracy, dont like my rules, leave"

I guess I just cant understand that mentality if your trying to build a community.

Asshats like those little bastards that stole your shit are the ones that should be band right now, not honest good people like Rock addict and CronusTRD that were just trying to help some locals out and broke some little rule.

No, according to RCC rules, they should have been given 1 week infractions, not band.

Well I can only read what happened, sounded kinda heated, they are not banned, just on a week long vacation.
