Those WK axles are really wide. A different offset would bring the width in a little. What is the width? The Moabs are definately not at the top of the food chain right now so maybe another set of tires.

I think the axles are around 11.5 inches. Somewhere in there. I posted all my specs here in the forum somewhere but can't find it lol. For the most part I'm happy with it, pretty stable I think, but at the same time I'm semi new to this. I have noticed that the Moabs arent the best after I bought them. I'll be looking into some other tires here soon.

F it dude, Bring it on. Rig looks good and, who cares if you win or lose. It's all about coming out and having fun. My 1st 3 comps I run a WK with a stock frame under it.

The extra width will add some stability in off camber situations, but if you start hanging up too much on the pumpkin a different offset wheel will narrow your track to help that. I popped over to your build thread and it looks like you're running the stock Wheely King ESC, if that's the case I'd recomend something with a drag brake. Also if your transmission is completely stock, upgrading the gears to either a steel or aluminum set will save you problems down the road (personally I run the aluminum ones and have had no problems at all with them). All in a all a nice looking truck though, I've always liked the look of that chassis.

Cool, Thanks Creepy Inc. I have a few more small things I want to do to it to dial it it. Would I be able to run with a chassis like that? or would I have to put some lexan body panels on it?

Nate - yes I do have the stock esc and trans, which I plan to be upgrading the ESC to maybe a castle or rooster crawler, and the trans will be replaced with an R2... but I need to give the spending a break for a while, I spent too much on this truck too quick lol.

Bring it to the comp. You will also be able to look at other people's setups in person and see how different rigs work.

I understand that. I ran my wk around for quite awhile on the stock trans with the plastic gears and slipper before they finally gave up the ghost in a blaze of throttle | |
