| what ill usually do in a situation like that is take a dremel, with a cutoff wheel on it and make a slot in the face of the screw that i can put a flat head screwdriver into.......if that doesnt work. maybe you can grab it with some vise grips?

try using a sharper/ blunter edge (brand new #2) phillips (the servo horn may not let you get in there) and run to auto zone or pep boys and get some valve lapping compound. take the servo out and lay it horn up and use some downward pressure on the screw with the lapping compound on the head of the stripped screw. gotten s- loads of stripped screws out that way |

well I was able to take it apart without removing the servo horn. I inspected the gears, then reassembled it, and the noise is gone |

Well, if I have to take it off at all, I`ll try it. Thanks aychdee Well, its back together and seems fine. I just popped my wheels off and put some breather holes in there like you suggested CeeBlock, I can already tell its going to make a HUGE difference. Saturday is looking good. 45* and sunny, breezy in the morning. I think maybe around noon time, or 1PM would be perfect. You guys down? |
