Hey there. I am from Quincy. New to crawling and just picked up the Losi Night Crawler a few days back. I tend to go to the old Quincy Quarries. They put in a soccer field and a few baseball fields. Just outside the soccer field there are rock paths from the road all the way up. They are approx 45 deg angles and make for some nice crawling. Take a look via google maps and you will see them pretty easily as they are a good size and there are several of them. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. |

Hey KTW, Brian from Boston Crawlers here, welcome to Crawling. You found a pretty good spot nice and fast. We have held events at Quincy Quarry in the past. The weather has been pretty nice for us crawlers recently too so looks like you jumped on board at the right time. Boston Crawlers is going to be starting their outdoor season pretty soon so if you are interested in getting out and crawling with some other guys we always welcome new members. We have a sportsman class for people new to the hobby, and those that just don't want to deal with the pains of a MOA (motor on axle) rig. Our first event is at the end of March, maybe we will see you there. |

well i went down to profile rock sunday and ran the crawlers for awhile. Some of the rocks were a little wet but we had a good time anyway. We almost got to see how an ax10 handles a 60 foot drop but it stopped fliping 6 inches from the edge. Anyone up for this weekend theres a ton of good crawlin out there

I'll be out of town snowboarding but... There is an event at RC Madness (in Enfield CT) this weekend that I know alot of guys will be going to. There is a sportsman class (Think AX10's and Nightcrawlers) and a pro Class (Think XR10 and Bergs). Its a great group of guys and there is an indoor "offroad" track, an indoor carpet track, and an outdoor offroad track in addition to the crawling. It is pretty hard to Not have a good time there.
