Default Ice Crawl 2011, March 5th

Hello Everyone,

Boston Crawlers is hosting an Ice climb on March 5th. This event will be outside at a Very Large snow/ice pile in Framingham Ma.

The event is open to any crawler vehicle, 2.2, 1.9, or other.

It must be electric, and have a track width no greater than 16"

The race will begin with everyone on a starting line and competitors will race up a course and whoever makes it the furthest up will be crowned the winner. The course will be open for 1 hour and you are free to make as many attempts in that time that you are able.

Some people have worked on studding some old tires (this can be easily done using some sheet metal screws and some duck tape).

Prizes will be given out to the competitor who makes it the furthest with studded tires as well as the competitor that makes it the furthest on stock tires. There may be some other fun prizes to give out too ;)

This event will be taking place after our 5th Boston Crawlers winter event. So we will be meeting at Wicked RC. For anyone who would like to come to the ice climb but is not going to run in our 2.2 comp please meet us at Wicked RC at 4:00 (280 Worcester Rd, Framingham, Ma).

If you have any questions feel free to ask,
