| Boston Crawlers Bounty Competition
Boston Crawlers Bounty Hunter Competition, July 23rd 2011 Where: Halibut Point Park, 5 Gott Ave, Rockport, Ma. Format: Each driver will pay a $10 registration fee that goes towards putting bounties on each course. The driver that completes the course or completes the course the fastest will be awarded the bounty for that course. This event will focus on competing across several single challenging gates, instead of completing over a longer traditional 2.2 style course. Courses: There will be 7-10 individual courses. Each course will contain 1 start gate and 1 finish gate. Boundary markers may be included as well. This will be like a competition of all bonus gates. Rules: Drivers must complete the course without hitting gate markers. When a gate is hit the attempt of that course is over. In the event of multiple drivers completing the course, the bounty will go to the driver with the lowest time. There will be no penalty points awarded in this competition; this includes reversing and rollover/touches. When a rig flips over, hits a boundary, or requires a vehicle touch it will be replaced behind the start gate. If a rig requires a mechanical the attempt on the course is over. Truck specifications: must meet 2011 USRCCA 2.2 regulations. Outlaws: Along with competing against each other there will be “outlaws”. Brendan and Brian will be the outlaws for the course. They will not accept the bounty. If an outlaw completes a course that others do not, or they compete it faster then the bounty for that course is exempt and the money will be moved to the next course. I heard you were working on a new rig. This could be a good opportunity for a "Return on investment" :p

Not really. We were there last year around this time and it was pretty quite. We will also be there early in the a.m. (9:30) so we'll be fine. Get your truck and quit your kvetching. |

Hey Guys, This competition is happening this Saturday, the 23rd. The format is a little different from our standard 2.2 events but promises to be a lot of fun. There is a huge amount of rock here so there is plenty of room to play between runs. Also Bring $2 for parking. Brian |

| See you all tomorrow
Hey Guys, I hope everyone is psyched for the bounty comp tomorrow. I am pretty excited to have everyone see Halibut Point. It is definitely one of my favorite spots around. As Brendan said, tomorrow is going to be a scorcher so be prepared. I will be bringing my 10' pop up tent if anyone wants to volunteer to help carry it down tot he crawl spot. The address for the parking lot again is 5 Gott Ave. Rockport, Ma. Park in the parking lot ($2) and follow the path shown below. There are signs to the ocean you can follow but again the path is shown below. |

| Fun in the sun
Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday and bared the heat. The bounty comp was a ton of fun. The amount of terrain there at Halibut Point is incredible. We had plenty of room to set 10 courses all comprising of one Gate, both Pro and Sportsman Level. We started things off moderately and then ratcheted the difficulty up with each progressive Course. Bob and Rob both took down 1 course, Eli and Brian each took 2 courses, and Brendan starting off slowly, dominated most of the second half of the competition, with 4 course wins. We will definitely be doing something like this again, and we will definitely be returning to Halibut point. |
