As long as we don't bring you to that one place by the tower.

Something about you judging distance and wind speed at a comp worries me.

It is a small coastal farm town with lots of rich snobby types, definitely bring guns!

Over the winter we should have taken up a collection for a old person scooter so robbob wouldn't have to worry about walking too much this year. At least there will be 1 losi this year.

No need for a walker this year. I don't have a 6lb rig holding me down.

Hey Guys,

We have a special treat for all of you for the first comp of the season. We were able to work with the rangers at Purgatory Chasm to get an "event permit" to kick off our outdoor season in style. Hopefully mother nature will cooperate.

The rest of the locations have also been updated on the first page.

Let me know if you have any questions,

I made it to the last King of Hammers event you guys had at Breakheart Reservation and had a great time. I really liked how efficiently you guys ran that thing and how quick the whole thing worked out.

I was wondering how long a normal comp event typically takes... I know this may be hard to quantify... I spent 14 hours at an event in Fitchburg(I think that includes my travel time) and I spent 1.5 hours at your KoH event. My wife was a little unhappy when I went to Fitchburg but didn't mind when I went out to Breakheart Reservation.

Thanks for any info you can give me.

Hey Nate,

Our outdoor competition events take a little longer because there are three courses, they are scored, and there is only one person at a time. Certainly not 14 hours more like 5 or 6. That being said you could always come for the first part, hang out, have some fun, and then take off halfway through. We won't give you too much crap

See you around,

I am looking forward to this. I think I will have to do the same, come for the first part and maybe leave a bit early. I can not stand for long periods of time but we shall see what happens.

So I have a descent 2.2 bully and also a GC2 sportsman. Never even been to a comp let alone be in one. Would you recommend jumping in with the sportsman or bully?

3s gave me a 17 point lead after first round, 4S sealed the deal for the day with a 29+ points over second for the day.

Ya Ill leave the 4S for back up

New sneakers are working well too and I might even throw on a new body.

Hey Cordwood,

I would say run the rig you are comfortable with. I might recommend giving sportsman a shot to get used to crawling with gates and a timer to see how you like it. Then you can make your mind up from there. Could bring both and scope out the courses and then decide also.

Rob,

It's got to be the new sneakers :p
