New to Crawling in Worcester

Hi everyone.

I just got into crawling and am looking for some events/get togethers with other crawlers.

I have a custom Losi Comp Crawler 2.2 that I'm getting the hang of crawling with.

It might be too late to enter in comps but would like any help with meeting local crawlers and in getting better aquainted with this awesome rig in local spots.

Hey Dirty, welcome to the addiction!
My name is bryan and i'm in oxford ma. I belong to BostonCrawlers and those guys have pretty good events all over the state at some great locations, and run sportsman ( no dig ) and pro classes. You can check out bostoncrawlers.com to get some more info, i think the next event is the 21st of this month. Hope you get to make it out to some this year!

Hey Brian,

Thanks for the response.

Where is the event on the 21st being held?

I work that Friday but depending on location i can make it.

Also, are there local practice spots in the worcester/oxford area?

What kind of rig are you running?

The next BC event is Breakheart Res. (Wakefield, MA). It's a saturday, usually its a bit of a drive but they make it worth it. You can learn a lot just by watching some of the top guys. There's also a scaler type event coming up on the 22nd in CT.
Right now i'm running a Axial XR-10 w/ all the vanquish goodies, and recently switched to a Chaotic Crawlers chassis.
As far as local spots, there isn't much in worcester that i know of, may be some rocks @ green hill park. I usually find some stuff at the dams and parks in oxford, along w/ purgatory chasm.

A little thread resurrection.

Thanks Bryan. Work got the best of me and I didn't pursue events as I should have.

I'm catching up on the rules and have gotten to know my rig much better. If you're still in the Oxford area let me know and see if we can get a few ppl out on some rocks
