Boston Crawlers - Breakheart Reservation, Wakefield Ma - July 21st


Hey Everyone,

This Saturday is Boston Crawlers sixth outdoor event of the season.
Boston Crawlers has visited Breakheart Reservation before but this is a new location in the park.

To anyone who has not come to one of our events we welcome you to stop by and check it out, or enter a truck in one of our comp classes. We keep it pretty low key, Fun, but competitive. There is a Pro Class for MOA trucks and trucks with Dig, and a Sportsman class for vehicles without MOA or dig units.

Again event #6 will be held at Breakheart Reservations in Wakefield, Ma. Registration will begin at 10:00am and the competition will begin at 10:30. There will be three courses for both sportsman and pro class. We will be using the 2011 version of the USRCCA rules until the 2012 version is officially released.

You can use a GPS to the following address.
Parking is located at 166 Hemlock Rd, Wakefield Ma.

Leave a little bit of time for the walk down, about 5-10 minutes on a paved/dirt trail. Be sure to bring sunscreen and liquids, this location is on the top of a large hill and there is not a lot of shade.

There is no fee for this event. Once you park your car walk into the reservation and take the trail to the left as you enter. Look for signs to eagle rock, which will be a dirt trail to the right side of the paved trail.

Yeah, servo will def not be here in time so I'm on the fence. Thanks guys for the offers, my setup is not ideal for just bolting up a servo though, it would be a little work to do a swap on the rocks. Jeff, those Berg dogbones and I don't get along too well, but...I do have a pile of spares! If someone doesn't mind sharing, I would love to come hang.

looks like another comp i won't be able to make. me can the rig are getting rusty! maybe i'll have better luck making comps in the fall.

I think i can bring my bolt on spare setup for you if you need it. Has servo and BEC wired in to a deans adapter.

Thanks to everyone who came out, It was great to see everyone and welcome Kevin to the group. Eli thanks for putting up the pictures.

It was a great day with some awesome weather. Congrats to Brendan and Eli for pulling down 1st and 2nd in the Pro Class. Congrats to Dan and Dylan for their 1st and 2nd place win in the Sportsman class.

I will put the scores up shortly. See you all in august.
