local weather is saying slight chance for sprinkles, cloudy, 80deg 51 and I will be a little later, around 10:30 or so. |

next time, we are trying to head to Lincoln woods in RI Word of warning for Skinner. With all the construction, the very top parking lot is closed off, so you have to hike a relatively short, but steep trail to the picnic area/rocks. |

I'd love to, but schedule is a nightmare. My father has been in the hospital for 4 weeks now, so that takes a lot of my free time, which I didn't have anyway. Tell you what though, throw out some weekend dates and I'll start a new thread for the most popular. I'd need some time to get stuff together. This weekend is out for me. We also have to contend with the Summit construction, but I believe they don't normally do work on weekends. They are only open 9am-6pm until Oct 8th, then they are only open until 4pm. Due to Summitt House construction, the Summit road will close periodically. Check the park telephone message (413-586-0350) for updates. |

I'm sorry about your father, I wish him a speedy recovery. My weekends are pretty wide open so whatever you local guys can come up with is the best bet. I didn't realize how late in the season it was when I suggested it, September has gone by in a flash for me.. If we're lucky the weather this October will be cooperative. |
