Boston Crawlers 2013 Schedule
 

Hey Guys,

Hope everyone is ready for another great year of Crawling. Boston Crawlers is excited to host Another Great year of Crawling. We will be running a Nationals Qualifier, as well as our normal outdoor season, and hope to have a couple fun events along the way. As always Boston Crawlers does not charge for these events (though sometimes our locations require parking or a permit fee). We will be running the Pro series and we are also trying to run a 2.2S class along with it's own Nationals Qualifier (though this is still a bit up in the air).

The dates for the 2013 season are as follows.

April 6th - Oakdale Park (Melrose Ma) - (Begin Nat's Qualifier, and BC points Series)
April 21th - Profile Rock (Freetown Ma) - SUNDAY
May 4th - Rafes Chasm (Gloucester Ma)
June 1st - Knox Memorial Park (Melrose Ma)
June 8th - World's End (Hingham Ma) - (Nat's qualifier Final)
July 20th - Breakheart Reservation (Wakefield Ma)
Aug 10th - Fort Wetherhill (Jamestown RI)
Sept 15th - Chandler Hovey Park (Marblehead Ma) - (BC Points Series Final)
Oct 5th - Location TBD - (King of The Hammers Race)

Your lowest score in the Nationals Qualifier will be dropped, your two lowest scores in the BC points series will be dropped.

Locations for these events will be announced soon. When planning keep in mind that if we have a rain date we will typically use Sunday (the next day).

Looking forward to this; just got into rock crawlers and they're awesome. Should have done it sooner

Just register at the events or is there another way of signing up?

Hey Method,

Looking forward to meeting you. We will put up a post a week or two before each event with Time, Location, etc. Just keep your eyes open.

Sounds good I hope I can make these events I've never really been to a comp. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and checking out the different rigs.

In the meantime, are there any local spots or get togethers for crawling in the winter?

Really looking forward to this season and thanks for posting those dates in advance Brian. Hope everyone had a nice holiday and New Years.

Count me in for both series if you run the 2.2S. Going from the BRXL and dig to two ESCs this year. Everything is in a pile on the bench downstairs. Will be ready for the 6th, maybe sooner for one of the indoor CT events...

My goal for this season - finish all three courses at one event in Pro.

Get that thing back together Jeff! Can't wait for the BC season to get going, always a great time! Hopefully we'll see some new faces this year, this is a great group of friendly guys so don' t be afraid to come check us out! We've got a lot of great crawling spots in some beautiful locations, always worth the trip! See everyone in a few months!

Hey Guys,

I am getting pumped, a couple more months. Brendan and I have got a few potentially sweet spots to go check out. Hoping to bring you guys some new turf again this year.

Keep an eye on the forum, if we get some snow we may do another ice crawl in Feb/March. They are always a good time.

Assuming we get the kind of snow the weathermen think we will get keep your eyes posted for an Ice Crawl event in Late February/March.

I can only hope my work sends me to Boston when one of these events is taking place! We shall see what develops, but you might just see me pop my head in at one of these events!

Would be great to have you drop in. We should be putting locations on those dates in the next couple weeks. We may bump in to you at the EPARCC regional too.


As for the ice crawl, the pile is getting pretty large, Need to find a date that works.

Im in Marlborough so thats a quick drive.

Should we do a course, or gates instead of just a race to the top this year? Not that that wasn't fun, might make it a longer event though.

Already got a new set of ice tires ready to go!
