| Boston Crawlers - Rafe's Chasm - May 4 This coming Saturday! is Boston Crawlers Third Outdoor event of the season. Rafe's Chasm is in Gloucster and is another new location for BC. It is right on the ocean and the rock is Fantastic. To anyone who has not come to one of our events we welcome you to stop by and check it out, or enter a truck in one of our comp classes. As mentioned in our Outdoor schedule we will be running a 2.2 Pro class as well as a 2.2S class. Please see USRCCA rules to find out where your truck belongs. We will also be running a modified class for those who are new to crawling (though this class is not part of the Nationals Qualifier). Again the event will be held at Rafe's Chasm in Glouscter MA. Registration will begin at 10:00am and the competition will begin at 10:30. There will be three courses for all classes. We will be using the 2013 version of the USRCCA rules. The Weather is looking great for this event, but REMEMBER to bring Sunscreen, Water, Etc. There is not a lot of shade at this location. You can use a GPS to this address. Look for the small dirt parking lot on the south side of the road. Please show up on time/early and if possible carpool with someone, there are only about 10 parking spots at this location. 136 Hesperus Ave Gloucester, MA There is no Fee for this event. We run a 2.2s class which is a shaft driven rig, no dig. Must be a bodied rig as well for that class I believe, hope to see you there!

Hey Yota, We had nine shafty entries in our 2.2s class at the last event. We hope you can stop by and run a few courses. You can find the 2.2s rules in the standard USRCCA rule book. |

Awsome location, had a great time. Looks like Dylan will be getting some new stuff, the electronics did not like the salt water. Any one know of a XR10 based crawler for sale?

Great event once again! Had a great time and pleased at the accommodations within the course for us "noobs". I am looking forward to competition within the pro moa class for the experience and to rid Lou of "The Belt" lol Here are some photos. Sorry that I could not get photos of everybody. |

Saturday Was a great Day. Mother nature was on our side and we had some awesome terrain to play on. The Courses were fantastic and it was great see everyone that came. Congrats to Brendan on his win in 2.2P.... by 6 points , and to Dan for Schooling the heck out of us in 2.2S A special thanks to everyone who helped out during the day, judging or scoring (I think that is everyone at this point ) See you all June 1st for the next Crawling adventure. |
