Boston Crawlers - Fort Wetherhill - Aug 10th

Hey Everyone,

Next Saturday (Aug 10th) is Boston Crawlers seventh outdoor event of the season.

This will be Boston Crawlers first event outside of Massachusetts, at Fort Wetherhill in Jamestown Rhode Island. Call it our Summer Vacation Event . This event is much closer for some of our RI friends and we hope to see some of you CT folk too.

To anyone who has not come to one of our events we welcome you to stop by and check it out, or enter a truck in one of our comp classes. We keep it pretty low key, Fun, but competitive.

As mentioned in our Outdoor schedule we will be running a 2.2 Pro class as well as a 2.2S class. Please see USRCCA rules to find out where your truck belongs. We will also be running a modified class for those who are new to crawling.

Again the event will be held at Fort Wetherhill, Jamestown RI. Registration will begin at 10:00am and the competition will begin at 10:30. There will be three courses for all classes. We will be using the 2013 version of the USRCCA rules.

Parking is located at 4 Fort Wetherill Rd
Jamestown, RI 02835.

There is no fee for this event. Once you park your car walk to the other side of the fort and down towards the rocks.

I'm exited for this one! New rig, and one of my favorite new spots! Who's gonna make this one? Hopefully better turnout than the last one!

Had a chance to check out Bobs new rig yesterday. Looking dangerous.

Will be there for sure. Extended forecast looks perfect for Saturday. The view from this location is postcard and the rock has insane traction. Can't wait for this weekend.

I cant make this one.I just sent out my radio back to futaba for the update so I can run two fxr esc's. I will see what I can do to try and make it.

It has been a rough couple of weeks plagued with electrical problems and stuff, but thanks to my crawler buddies I am finally ready to run tomorrow! New chassis is sweet, can't wait to see how it does! Servo on loan from my good buddy Jeff Larence, and loads of help from Brian, putting up with questions and giving advice on getting my radio fixed. I really appreciate the help guys! Looking forward to crawling at a great spot with great guys tomorrow!

I should be all set I hope by the next comp.
I can't wait to try out these fxr esc's. Maybe when I get my m2 dig esc back from Novak I might get Brian's old chassis going .we shall see how things go.

Great day! It was perfect weather and great courses, thanks for making the trip down to our neck of the woods everyone! It's too bad it is late in the season and attendance has dropped off, maybe next time some more guys will make the trip!
