| Boston Crawlers - Event #4 - May 17th On Saturday, May 17th Boston Crawlers will be continuing its 4th annual Nationals Qualifier Series. This will be the fourth of 5 events that will determine who will receive one of the two invitations we have to compete at USRCCA Nationals (Being held in Jamestown Rhode Island this year). We will have a 2.2 Pro class, a 2.2 Shafty Class, and a "Run What You Brung" class. As always there is no entry fee required for these events. Thanks to our sponsors Castle Creations, RCP Crawlers, Lattice Innovations, and CowRC we will have some sweet prizes to give out to the top place finishers of each of the 5 events as well as the overall series winners in each class. Date, Time, and Location are on the flyer. See the map below for details on where to go from the parking lot. Use your GPS to go to 136 Hesperus Ave, Gloucester, MA. There is a small parking lot on the side of the road. Since Parking is tight please park close so others have a spot to park in. Carpooling is Recommended. All are welcome. |

The forecast certainly is not looking amazing right now. I don't trust weathermen as far as I can throw them so hopefully it will change. The rain date for this event is Sunday May 18th. Keep an eye on this thread and I will keep people up to speed with whats going on.

Make sure it runs nice and smooth. Scoop out your throttle with some exponential. Make sure it articulates well and does not bind anywhere. Anything you can do to reduce weight above the axle line will help you. | |

Brian and I made the executive decision this morning. Comp will be on Sunday May 18th. From NOAA: " A chance of showers, mainly after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 59. Northeast wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%." So sounds like it should be a decent day of crawling. See you guys Sunday morning -Brendan |

Mother Nature is a real beast. Yesterday they were calling for heavy rain until 7pm and now look at it. Ohh well, Tomorrow will be nice weather too, sorry to those who are not able to make the switch. |

Wish I could make it because it looks like it will be a nice day but I want to spend some time with the kids (been working way too many hours lately). Maybe next time.

| Re: Boston Crawlers - Event #4 - May 17th it sucked... not really just trying to make you feel about not being able to make it. 4 of us showed up. weather held off. Best part was we set stupid hard courses and ran 6 min rather than 5. Every gate was doable.. but a good amount of them were bonus gate level of difficulty. |

Sorry I couldn't make it..but on the other hand I found the honey hole of comp spots...pics are posted..I can't seem to figure out why on rc crawler the pics load upside down...???...I didn't even cover the hole park yet..all the pics are at the entrance. Parking was very close I think you guys are going to want to check this spot out on June 22nd..I was looking for something really sick before we goto the Nat's qualifier... I think this may be it.. |
