bandit, make sure you have room in there for the GD-600! Also, make sure that you have a nuetral or zero timing motor, because you will have to reverse your motor wiring. The GD-600 will reverse the rotation of your tranny and axles. You can get theGD-600 from Tower Hobbies.

| Frequencies!!!!!!!
For all that will be attending on the 16th, or even thinking about it: Make sure that you post your frequencies here so we can avoid conflicts on the day of the crawl. Also, please post any alternate frequencies that you have so we know ahead of time who can switch if need be. I am running on 69 FM 75mhz. I don't have any alternates yet, but will try to get some. | Meeting Location Directions
Hey Guys, Here's a map of Lincoln Woods and a pic showing where we can all meet. The loop becomes a one way once you pass the beach/soccer fields. Hope everyone can make it on the 16th! Joe Last edited by kona_joe; 04-12-2005 at 07:04 AM. |

| Cell phone #s?
7 pages of posts for a NewEngland thread! I got a memory card for my digicam today, so ther'll be another page of pics after the crawl! How many people are really planning on going? To make the morning commute easier and keep everybody on the same page, anybody feel like sharing cell phone numbers? I don't have one, but I'll be riding with Trac95ker (who does have a phone!). Kona has one also. If anybody wants to be able to communicate in the AM to make sure we all get to the same place, PM or email your numbers to either Kona or Trac95. Corey, maybe this post with your intro/merchandise promotion should have gone in your own thread about your CT crawl?

Corey's reason for putting it here is simple.. Connecticut is part of New England. You guys are looking for crawlers in New ENgland right? well we are adding to it. We already have a club but it is not crawler specific.. it's a general RC car club. It's free.. We do lots of events and stuff and all are invited... For the most part we are just looking for people to crawl with and learn from. As far as the magazine goes, corey is just trying to be very supportive in the effort. We are going to dedicate a section to crawling every issue and it will include tips, tricks, photos, and VIDEO.. oh yeah.. product reviews. In fact, the first issue will actually include seveal HYPERLINKS within the crawling section linking people reading it directly to RC Crawler's website. The concept of crawling sounds cool but to the average joe racer or mr. RC'er out there, it's not really understood. Even magazine coverage is just a couple pictures. Now Crawling will be getting its just exposure. First time i saw a rock crawling video i was hooked. I still remember the site. www.swami-rc.com It was a clodzilla4 and i had neve seen anything like it.. Now imagine how many other people have heard of it but never seen a monster Crawler bending and twisting through rocks.. Now they can PLease understand.. the whole concept is a huge undertaking. We have all our money tied up in this and have a lot riding on its success. We hope the new magazine on disk concept is embrassed for what it can offer instead of rejected becuase it's different. Look what video did for skateboarding! |

Savageland, that's all fine and wonderful. It's just in the wrong place. You'll need to check with a moderator on this one, but it seems to me that if you want to use the rccrawler website to promote all that stuff you'll need to buy stars.

not looking to promote anything.. just explaining my position... really wish i could have made it up to your new england crawl. How many of you would mind crawling in gloucester sometime this summer.. have access to some property there. Also.. we have some nice places here in CT.. if you are looking for someplace different.
