I was quite surprised to have this land on my doorstep this morning. By the date code on the box it looks like it was packed on Dec 23, that's not bad shipping for only being seven days old! Unfortunately I don't have time to jump right into building it but I will be able to start later today. For now here is a teaser shot ;) ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Can you tell me what the width is at the outside of the front tires when you get to that point.

Started the unboxing. ![]() ![]() Packaged nicely Everything is labeled by step in numbered bags... very nice ![]() I have plenty of rigs to provide photos for comparisons. Ascender (short and long chassis), scx10ii, g-made sawback etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Wheels and tires aren't bad. Gloss black rim, standard foam inserts. Tires are firm and heavy walled. Not too bad for a kit. ![]() Compared to stock scx10ii kit wheels and tires. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Chassis assembly ![]() ![]() Again, no issues. If you aren't an experienced builder, you may have issues with a picture only assembly manual. Lots of A and B parts and various similar sized hardware. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

This is probably the biggest point of controversy so far. The shaft between the trans and transfer case is plastic and isn't a pin through style. Basically the shaft is "captured" when mounting the transfer. ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Time for links... Good news is that they are aluminum pipe, not plastic. Unfortunately they are plastic ball not metal like some kits. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

This looks nice. Are the gears machined or molded metal? Can't wait to see how beefy the portals are. |
