How bad is the bump steer using a chassis mounted servo and 4link?

if I had to do it again I would use a little heat from a hairdryer to make it easier

small amount of parts added, this body has a lot of screws! I broke a wing mirror already, not even got on the trail yet!...1.55 steelies and mud grabber tires look better I think?

hi guys just a quick post for an update on the LC70. ive been awaiting parts all this time I have also been building a 3d printer so I can make my own parts. only been a week and I'm already printing version 1 of a front bull bar for the LC70.

this is with the PLA material that came with the printer, I best order some black!

more soon!

now on version 3 of the front bumper. gave it a quick shot of primer so it can be seen better, black ABS on order. lots of tweaks needed (to the printer and the bumper!) to try and get the infill of the light holder to pop out easier.

I didn't realise that 3d prints are surprisingly strong?!

Colour! :hmmm: oh yeah I went with beige well more towards brown but anyway...

had to drill 2 holes in each door as I got the new mounting kit from RCModelex

here you can see the 2 brackets in place, I need to drill holes in the chassis now to keep the body secure

also RCmodelex released a new bumper for this kit so the 3d printed one is currently on the shelf :hmmm: the bumper has locators on it for the body

had to hack this bit even more

the rear hooks in like so, very sturdy solution!

Wow, really nice looking trucks! Altough that LC70 would look so much better with 1.55" wheels... Tire size is spot on but the wheels look HUGE.

yeah the tyres are spot on, I got some 1.55 wheels on the way will have a look when they arrive but I think ill have issues with the limited 1.55 tire choice
