Got the links and front axle done. Why would they use bushings and not bearings? Got the bearings on order. I got 2 motors a 27 turn and a 35 turn which one do you think is best for this truck.

I like my 35t personally. A 27t will work fine with a slightly smaller pinion.

I’ve got one of these running a 35t and it’s about perfect for it. I do have another with a 55t running on 3s that I’m quite happy with too.

NICE!! I've wanted one of these for a while. From what I've read, the CFX has lower Trans gearing than the CMX..... Just food for thought, when it comes to Motor choice. Based on what I've been told and what I've read, 2S - 25-27 Turn, 3S - 35-45 Turn.
I also heard that those planetary Transmissions are a bit noisy, but quite durable!
Can't wait to hear how she runs.

TBH, the planetary setup is on mine at least one of the quietest transmissions I've heard. Very pleased with mine, very capable out of the box.

Got it all mounted up. This was my first 3D printed part. Fit and finish is very good.

The weights are available on eBay. I think most are in stock overseas though. AMain did have them, but they were sold out last I checked.

I 3D printed my own CMS mount for my CMX, but decided against using it - at least for now.
