Yes it will fit into TRX4. However according to their website information, This body’s wheelbase is for 313mm [emoji106][emoji4]

Shouldn't be an issue. The TRX4 kit, Sport and Bronco all have a 312mm wheelbase.

That would be a great swap for the excruciatingly boring TRX-4 Sport body... Light, too!

(I've never had a Jeep of any sort, and at least it's a Scrambler-style)

I dig that truck. Been seeing on Amain for pre-order for a while now. Might have to pick one up when they come out. Love the knock-off Nitto Mud Grapler tires the used. They look killer!!!

I hope they have better beads than the 2.2" Team DC Chequered Flag Nitto copies I picked up - can't get beadlock wheels to clamp down on them, they're too thin - gonna glue mine on RPM Revolver Nylon wheels:

Pics when I mounted them to Incision Methods are here, but they pulled right off with a slight tug on the tread:

Though my favorite aspect of this is still the body (and tires), there is more news on the JP1 version of the MST CFX-W...

RTR in 4 colors, up for pre-order at rcmart.com - probably at amainhobbies soon:

Is the body available on its own? I have to admit I've never had a Jeep in my collection but I kind of like the look of this one.

Not yet, they said they were holding off until the kit had been released for some time - I REALLY like the body as well, especially since I've never had a Jeep for an RC before.

I like the body a lot as well. I planned on having one of these trucks, but the TRX-4 really stole my attention from everything else. :ror:

Yep, I'm just waiting for the body. I have a 2nd body-less CFX-W kit sitting here that I plan to try something with. Needs a body though.

Also the newer kits come with the upgraded TC80 aluminum shocks. Not sure how good they are, but they must be better than the 70mm sized plastic shocks from the old kit.

i don't have a cfx in my collection so i'm not sure if i'll get that with this body or pick up a trx4 sport kit, dump traxxas body and use this one. might be nice to have the variety of drivetrains/chassis to compare.

Just saw the cfx kit with jp1 body for $340 preorder. The trx4 sport kit runs $280. The math is leading towards the trx4 because as long as the jp1 body is less than $60 I'm better off with the trx4 and adding the body i want. Obviously this is a price compare not a design/capability comparison.

This thing looks better and better every time I see it. Definitely gonna add one to the collection!

The kit is already released

The RTR says ship on or before April 4th.

Re: Jeep JP1 body by MST

I watched a YouTube video review on the kit, I don't know if it was the shock oil weight or what, but it was moving through rough terrain just like a 1:1, lots of suspension action, plush!

Waiting for a few (or several) months for these to hopefully drop in price a little and pick one up. Only thing I'd change is run SSD Steelies with the stock tires.

The grille and rockers come molded in matte black!

Hmmm, now I wonder how nice those TC80 shocks are. The original kits came with plastic shocks.
