I think it took about 4 or 5 hours, having a couple of beers with it

I was checking... With a little work, you should be able to fit a servo winch. But I believe it for a normal winch, although the mount points do not match the one from 3Racing

it's a nice looking rig. From your measurements it a bit smaller than a scx10 dingo. The 265mm is that the longest the frame can be extended without lots of fab work?

I'd say it's much smaller than a SCX ;)

And as the frame rails are one piece, the wheelbase is only adjusted by link length and swapping damper mounts around. So I guess you could go longer without too much work, but even at the long 267mm wheelbase, the drive shafts are close to their limit

Ok thank you. It's still a good product from what I've seen.

Got some more work done...

Built the mounts for magnets (those will hold 3 kg, more than enough)

Than, in order to get the body to the right height, I had to open up the rear deck a little. This provides enough space for the shock mounts, some diamond plate will cover them later on

Wheelbase (247mm) and body height look alright now

And there is enough clearance for the tires

Next: getting a SCX10 bumper mounted...

Drew a 3D file and got it printed at Shapeways

At the same time, I designed a roll bar and I'm pretty happy with the result

Had to redesign the bumper mount, but now it's the way I like it

Don't like the battery mounted on top of the axle, so I got a new mount for my 3S lipos from Shapeways

Any chance there will be a video of this rig in action? Would love to see that.

Any update on this rig? do the driveshafts and lockers hold up?
I saw some heavy duty supposedly lockers on their site but it doesn't specify if it's metal or plastic.. It's probably plastic though. Also besides the 70mm shocks you think it would fit longer ones like 90mm or so?

Didn't have a chance to take it out yet, I'm no friend of the cold ;)

I'm sure you could fit 80 or 90mm shocks, but you would have to mount them on the axle where the links go.
