Yes our MaxAmps method balance will work with that charger. And you can also use the Hyperion adapter boards with it to match up to any balance tap out there. Jason

I have a Losi 7.4v 1000mah 2 cell for the mini baja, and need a conversion tap to go to the balancer on the hyperion charger I have. Can you supply such a beast? If so, please pm me with a part number and I will order, thanks

Not real sure on that I just don't see where your going to come up with a female 2S losi tap with wire leads on it. If they were available that way we wouldn't have the issue at all. Jason

You might be able to buy these: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=LOSB9652 and then splice in this end to the 2S tap: http://www.maxamps.com/HYP-2S-Tap.htm this is something you would have to do. you would then have a 2S losi plug converted to 2S hyperion. Jason

I think the small losi connector is the right one, thanks for the help. I would rather not always charge w/o balancing.

Ours will not balance two packs at once like they have that one listed. The problem with that is with the small wires they use in the balancer it won't charge say two 3S 2100's at 2.1 amp each the balancer can't handle that current and knocks it back down to less than 2 amps or less total for both packs. So now it takes twice as long to charge. They fail to mention that in the description. It's a common issue with balancers. They may balance up to 6 cells but the wiring in them will not allow a 6S pack to be charged at 6 amps. The best thing to really do is to buy a charger with the balancer built into the unit. Then there are no issues. Jason

I was looking at three ac/dc chargers, the Hyperion, Venom, and the Triton EQ... are they all about the same? Or is one money better spent than the other two? I've got 3s lipos if that makes a difference. Thanks

Out of the three you mentioned the Hyperion line has the best track record. The venom is a rebadged Bantam charger that about 12 different places sell under other names. the Tritons are good but not nearly as the Hyperion. If you just playing with crawler packs and say up to 1/10th scale cars packs the Hyperion EOS0606i ac/dc balance charger is a great choice. Get all four balance tap adapters and you can deal with just about any pack on the market. http://www.maxamps.com/EOS0606i-AC-DC.htm Remember to check out our membership program for the discounts that apply.
