Pack weight 75 grams per cell and figure 15 grams for plugs and wire. Pack total weight at @ 315 grams

A 2S 2250 pack will also be available for around $60.00

For more info or to order please call 1-888-654-4450

They will be on the site in the next couple of days, a link will be posted then.

I ran this pack all last week in final testing in my Traxxas Slash powered with a CC Mamba Max and a 5700 motor. The gearing pulls about 67 amps peak and was giving me 15 minutes of non-stop run time on the test track. The pack was charged at 10 amps on my Hyperion DUO and took 30 minutes to put in 4500 mAh. Pack temp after charge was 84 degrees. Pack temp out of the Slash after 15 minutes of non-stop running was never more than 90 degrees. I had the LVC set for 2.0 volts per cell, Slash stops rolling at 4.8 volts so LVC's are not needed. Power is that of a 6 cell Nimh pack and real close to a 2S Li-Po. This is a great beginners pack. Good power, good run times, short charge time, and best of all really safe.

I know a123 cells have been around for a while, but not so much for rc. Is this going to be the future of the hobby? Will you have a 3s available soon and dimension?

We will have a 2250 series made from these same cells and the 2S2P series, meaning we will have 3S2P, 4S2P and so on. For sizes as of now you can use the dimensions of the 2P 6500 packs they are pretty much the same as the 2P 4500's.

Are these prismatic pouch cells or hard cased cells? Great charge specs, now to find a charger to pump them full

Same cell construction as a Li-Po. if you looked at them you wouldn't know they were LiFePo cells.

Please see the original post, Your charger must be able to deal with A123/LiFe-Po cells.

Do these new batteries come in smaller physical size or just a typical stick pack size? I just want to be able to put these next to my servo on my ax-10.

Right now only in the same foot print as a 6 cell shot gun pack. We are working on a smaller size hoping to get in the range of our current 2200 Li-Po or our 1550 Li-Po but still have a decent capacity.

Damn, shame that they won't charge on a LiPo profile. I guess the lower voltage per cell would be the problem there

i was really hoping you were going to say the same or similar size to your 2000mah lipos. those are by far my favorite for capacity/size.

Quoted right from our website

"chargers under the LiFePO4/A123 setting"

So yes.
