I think I missed it, but are those RC4WD tires and stock clod wheels?

And once again, AWESOME!

Yes. Stock clod wheels with RC4WD Rumble clod tires. Corners of side lugs removed for link clearance.
Electronics installation is next.

Sat the mockup-beat up HPI Mini Trophy truck body on the chassis for looks.

Speaking of awesome. I ran a 2200mah 3s lipo through this truck last night.

1. Handles pretty good. Some torque twist with losi whites, 30wt oil and no sway bars. Awesome.

2. just under 8lbs right now is awesome

3. 4WS is awesome

4. This awesome BC Paints! body Ryan just painted for my IFS SCX might find it way to this MT.

Thanks, Bert. Slowly inching along.

Drilled out pinion (20t) is holding up pretty good over two test runs. New Pinions will be here tomorrow. Running a 54t spur with the slipper a slippin'.
Made up a quick electronics tray to protect from the elecs from the spur. And protect against some mud/water thrown up by the tires.

Ignore the rat's nest wiring right now.

Looks to me like you got the room to build a water proof box for the eletronics.

I had a USA=1 when they 1st came out, I was working along the coast on a 1 year fiber optics project. I would stick a couple batterys in my pocket and walk down a different beach every week with my USA-1. I had a good time .

Sounds like a sweet setup. Work paired with R/C drivin' breaks.
I will be getting the additional material tomorrow to finish up the upper section and bracing. Plan on doing a semi-scale interior and a rear mounted motor. A cover over the electronics will play into this setup good.

Little bit of wheeling after the ARCC comp.

Tons of power, handles great and flies flat. Running 5000wt Diff fluid in some SCX shocks.

Looks like the video got messed up on the youtube upload?

I cannot get these VP Housings to hold the C-Hubs tight and I am pretty sure it caused me to break a wheel today at the skate park. Rear C-Hub was loose but i kept retightening them And driving it. Hit a small jump and busted a wheel when it landed.

I 100% believe the loose C-Hub and the angle the truck landed put too much strain on the modiied wheel.
Guess it's time to redrill and tap all 4 corners.

My iPhone\youtube is scrambling my videos now.

Thanks. I have been waiting on some 3/16" tube and I got that this past weekend. I am done with 3/16" tube and bracing everything up with 5/32" solid rod now.
I also bought a Hobart 140 MIG welder. Welding is much easier and cleaner. Couple more feet of 5/32" bracing and i'll be done with the chassis. I probably went a little bit overboard on the tube work but I don't want to rebuild this chassis again and want it strong. You can see on the rear there has already been bent tubing.
