| Re: Szczerba's Monster Truck Build on AR60's I'm posting this video in this thread because it pertains to the Monster Truck Foams C.I. is developing. Mods, Please remove if it's out of place here. C.I.'s Traxxas E-Revo test truck for Deuce's Wild Monster Truck Foams, ProLine Bad Lands MT Tires glued to Traxxas rims. The rear axle has a JB Welded / Locked hardened steel rear diff, runs on 6S Lipo (24Volts); Castle Creations ESC & Motor; RRP steel 65T spur gear; Hitec servo, no sway bars; RPM arms, and many other aluminum upgrades. The truck is work to drive with the locked rear axle and 6S and regularly breaks parts. The video was filmed on a rare snow day in East Texas on 3.3.2014. If 24 volts was ever going to explode a high rpm spinning tire, this would be it. Watch the tires and foams. Very little growth at full RPM free spinning on ice! |

A guess the time has finally come to start a build thread of my own for this rig. The MT was disassembled and is off the paint shop along with the 2.2 Beastly Beauty Ultra 4. Once it returns I'll start a new thread and post a link here. This is one heavy and well built chassis Szczerba, 2 pounds 6 ounces: ..Uploaded from the lab @ the C.I. Compound... |

I will not be starting a build thread of my own. This project monster truck was traded to another RCC builder. I did manage to have the chassis power coated: Time will tell what it becomes. ..Uploaded from the lab @ the C.I. Compound... |

Nice, nice truck! I got a question for you guys who have converted these trucks. Does the pin behind the slipper clutch hold up to the Clod tires and say a Velineon system on a 2s? I'm doing all Robinson gears and MIP shafts, but I know that pin is small and was just curious!
