Great video. The bronze over the joints makes for a super clean look.

Great looking chassis, this inspires me to want to build one.Could you send me a copy of the pdf's? I would love to use them as a base point for a build. BTW, what brand of TIG welder do you use for your work? 110v or 220v?

I don't have them hosted on my site yet but if you PM me your email I'll forward them along.

After building off the template, the only thing you need to watch is how the B-pillar fits with whatever body you plan on using. Beyond that, I think these templates are perfect.

Welder is the Thermal Arc 95S.

Great build Harley!

This is a problem with making true scale tractor tires. When RC4WD released the 1.9 Mud Bashers I saw a lot of comments about a 6" 2.2 version but the problem with that is the 2.2 rim is too small. The Clod rim matches up decently with properly cut and shaved tire. The problem with producing a Clod tire would be there are no off the shelf rims for them. They're easy enough to make but that means the market for them would be very limited. Here's a couple of Mud trucks I did a few years ago.

Clod based one, not scale, was just for fun.

Working on getting the tires done for Josh... One set down one more to go

They are narrowed to 1.5" wide Which puts them almost exactly have the width of stock...

Compared to a stock Tire.

That should be an understatement! I really hope to have this thing flying across the mud. I'm getting super anxious waiting on the rest of my parts!

Those tires should work well. Can't wait to see it running. Rj speed looks to have a 41 Willys body that could pass for the king Sling body. Just sayin.

When will you be shipping mine?

I have never used a scratch start machine. I don't understand how each scratch start doesn't contaminate the tungsten.

I made a bunch of progress on the truck last night!

I narrowed the Mad Force axles up to have a centered diff so that I could use short side shafts on both sides. These axles really are amazing pieces. So easy to modify and beef for days!

Then I installed the center Super Shafty Shark Fin using Ricks video on YouTube. Also super easy!

I mocked up my suspension links to see what I thought of the positioning and movement of the axles, after the mock up I decided to I will move the rear axle back a little and the front forward just a hair. It's really moving along though!
