Had a miscalculation with the front wheels and mailed them back to Duuuuuuuude for a reworkin'. Also, I was going to run deep offset rear wheels and a narrowed axle but I have scrapped that idea for a new set of rear wheels and full length axle. And I am ordering up some parts today. The front frame is going to need some clearancing/notching for axle uptravel. Good thing I am good at chopping up nice stuff.

Might not have to cut as much as I thought. I could rework the servo and mount it vertically behind the axle but it's easier to just notch the passenger side frame rail a little bit. Back in the garage for some work.

Cab completely dissassembled and started painting the bare AL firewall, inner fenders and interior floor. Going back together. I dont even know how many screws this cab had but it's alot. |

| Szczerba's 2.2 TTC Truck Working on dressing it back up. Thanks. Spent all day in the shop on this truck. Tons of little things addressed. Scale hardware and lots of it. Ran out and had to order some more from LockedUpRC. Cut and restrengthened chassis rail on passenger side for axle uptravel. Dinky R/C stickers on the dash and some foam on the seats. Body hinges painted black. Using yee old bandsaw for subframe strengthening parts making. I am an understudy of Eyeball Engineering. |

The subframe sturdiness didnt give me warm and fuzzy feelings. And the frame rails are aluminum. The suspension tabs needed reinforcement as well. Ran a piece of tube between the rear suspension tabs. May leave the rear as is with no tube work. The two screws on the new subframe plate go all the way through to mount the cab. I still may rework the lower link chassis mounts to lower them down. Overkill pictures. Last edited by Szczerba; 02-23-2015 at 05:04 PM. |

Couldnt leave it alone. Front done. Couldnt get any more lower triangulation with driveshaft and angled skid. This OG skid tube is some kind of funky metal and doesnt like MIG and the steel Im melting to it. |

This truck body is super nice. I don't know if i can bring myself to beat the crap out of it. Or just beat on it and have the "scale" body damage. I wanted to go for the small wheel look on this truck but...NEW! RC4WD Mud Basher in 2.2!
