The traction these foams are giving is not for a weak drivetrain. I'm running Freestyle Rc axles and transmission so I am not worried about that, but I am making sure to keep the wheel nuts tight because stripped hexes could be an issue.

Small foam update, I like them so much I'm trying to get more. |

Pic of the alternate rear swaybar using the wheely bar. I broke the rule of only changing one thing at a time so I'm not sure if it works any better. I would say no based on performance but the added grip of the CI foams may be the culprit. |

You broke another rule of thumb by putting the rear sway bar behind the axle and the front bar behind. Pick a location and use it on both ends, either behind or in front of the axles. You won't find any rigs in the 1:1 world mixing them. It has to do with how the chassis sees the torque of the sway bar and how it reacts to it. What does that thing weigh? Those look like sturdy axles, don't people run mad force these days? |

Interesting. I was reading a bunch of chassis design articles a few years ago and that was one thing they stressed was to have the sway bars either in or out but never mixed. Looks like things have progressed since then. Looks like I'm wrong. There I said it, are you happy now? |

So what, you're not going to update this thread as much as bookface? Or is there competition on here that you don't want knowing your secrets? |

Ahh gotcha. The axle, tire & wheel combo threw me. Is there a od or ud option for the traxxas style gear to counter act the trans so you just get the anti-torque twist advantage?

| Re: A kk2 I have 3 sets of these incredible axles, no ud od that I'm aware of. I can't say I even notice it when driving the cheeze truck.
