Nice to see we have a new Mega/Monster Truck section  The chassis is brazed 3/16 DOM tubing and 1/8 solid rod with Safety Silv alloy and flux |

That slightly larger diameter wheel really brings the tire a lot closer to looking like a true scale mega truck tire. I think I'm going to have to make mine a little bigger than 2.2 now. Awesome build! -Derek |

Sadly this rc truck is sitting on a shelf in the garage collecting dust and not flinging mud. But.... it's because I picked up a 1:1 71 Chevy 4x4 pickup and have been spending all my spare time building it up as a trail rig.   |

Nice find. Got a 70' myself. Been in the family since 84'. My dad bought the cab and frame from a farmer in California when we used to live there. Then built it from there. My dad (RIP). handed it down to me 4 years ago before he passed away.(Damn Cancer).Since then I haven't done much besides put a 454 and new exhaust in it.

Not the best picture lol. Some day plan to build it up but for now I just drive it once in awhile. Lots of great memories in this thing.  |

Nice Looking truck chevy4life.... i would keep it just as it is. It's awesome that it was your dads pickup and now you get to enjoy driving it along with the memories.
