| Grave Digger!
Always wanted to build a Grave Digger chassis. Finally doing it! Trying to keep it scale but at the same time I want great performance because I drive all my rigs. Using the RC4WD mud basher tires for building but might also get some true MT tires. Teaser |

I wanted to do the 30th anniversary paint like this one: I know Traxxas did a 30th version monster jam but its discontinued and I couldn't find any. So I went with the old school style that came with the Parma body. Maybe I should see about having some vinyl made for a second body???? | |

Chassis is done! I am pleased with how it came out, however its not even close to a replica. Shock mounts are much closer together then the 1:1 which threw off the proportions of the upper cage. Also some tube missing to keep the weight in check Not bad at 1lb 8.7oz........I want the final RTR weight to be about 7lbs. |

I know what you mean about the Traxxas grave digger. I tried to fined one my self and if you can find them they are really expensive. Will the frame be green?

Few more pics of the chassis. You can see one side of the lower frame was clearanced for offset diff on the AR60's I'm using. All link and shock mount are double sheer. Waiting for paint to dry now..... |

Yes it looks grave digger. One suggestion for a little extra detail is you could cut the back of it out and put a engine in there. I think new bright had a monster truck that had an engine.

Great work, as usual, Trenton! What is that tranny setup? Is it an Exo or shortcourse tranny? I see the Ford has been replaced already . This chassis should handle lots of abuse! |
