why don't you try centered wraith axels instead of the three you listed

That's what I'm going to wind up running. Either the new curries or the ssd axles. And just center a steer axle.

You got dimensions on the transmission? I emailed freestyle with no reply. Does the mounts/braces come with it?

I run a sv3 5700 on 2s in my GP with ar60's power is just right for me, I would go smaller kv if using 3 s.

what are you guys running for gear sizes? i'm piecing my axles together and not sure what gear combo to get. starting from scratch is hurting my brain with all the odds and end pieces you need.... used to be able to add pics to my posts not sure where that went....

updates.... got my parts for my axles and got them put together after alot of head scratching. got a set of king shocks to try as the others are a little to short for my liking but may end up running those if i compete with this thing. need a swaybar setup and getting close to figuring out electronics and such. |

just about to pull the trigger on some electronics think ive settled on Tekin rx8 and a 2400kv motor. not sure on what pinoin size to try first thinking 9-14 tooth? also wondering what you guys were doing with the freestyle r/c trans having 6mm outputs vs the norm 5mm... was thinking of just machining out the center and calling it good on one side.

If you run MIP drive shafts, they sell a 6mm end you can use on their shafts. I was running the stock axial WB HD drive shafts on my monster beetle build with the 3800kv castle motor..kept snapping the shafts in the center and ends so I went with the MIP Yeti rear drive shaft and no more problem | |

Well should have a nice little update here in a few days. I ordered up the last of the "traction goop" and got my axles apart ready to go back together. Also ordered a bunch of parts today and got word on my other body. It's gonna be pretty sweet!!

This is an awesome build! Are those both SSD axles? I think you will be disappointed with the performance of the King shocks. They look great though. Time will tell. |

yes both SSD. great price high quality. i'm waiting for there cvd's to come back in stock i'm just using stock axial front axle shafts untill then. or if vanquish will ever sell there new axle shafts without having to buy the locker and all that or individually for an insane amount of money... and honestly i'm not a fan... they leak and i haven't even drove the truck yet. i know i can probably figure out an oring to work better.... but the more i look i think maybe a set of proline powerstrokes for the yeti may be a better match. i love my gmades i just have to make some sort of bracket to get the ride height i want because they are a little short.
