Thanks. Took it down to the beach today and had a blast romping around in the sand. It just moshes over all the little sticks and rocks that always bounce my glamis uno around. |

stock tires are great on really loose stuff, sand, soft dirt. not great on packed dirt.

Mud season is here again! Still rockin the Kyosho Foxx. Can't believe how tough this truck has been. I have just beat the crap out of it and it just keeps on tickin. The old blue chevy body is pretty beat up now so I picked up a tbg 4runner body off ebay to paint up. Thinking of going with the same blue I did on my scale 4runner. Maybe one of these days I'll finish that truck too... Interiors are just not my thing! Anyways, now to get this body painted and mounted. Stay tuned, it should look pretty rad! also picked up some fling kings, man those tires and wheels look awesome!! I'm going to attempt to adapt them to the 17mm hexes on the foxx axles. Not sure how that is going to work but i'll know once i get them. cheers~ |

Its blue! ... and alive! I spent a good amount of time masking the body to do the blue with black trim, turned out decent. There is a bit of overspray but i can scrape it off later. I like the look of the body on there, I seems like it needs more though to spice it up. I tried some old bomber decals i Had lying around but took them off, they just didn't look the part. I might add a few other stickers or some stripes to mix up the look a little. I braved some downpour to test it out a bit today but when i found a super sticky mud puddle my slipper clutch started to give in. No wrench with me to adjust it so I'll take it out again tomorrow and rip it up a bit more. |
