| My Barbarian build "The Texas Raider"
Here goes nothing... So this is my first solid axle build. Got everything I need to build minus a body to run. Not too sure yet what I plan on running on this chassis but theme and paint have been chosen. Decided to go with the aluminum version of the Barbarian frame. Took it all apart and got it prepped for primer and paint. Went with gloss black of course. Next on my to do list is unlock my AR60's and mount the all aluminum transmission from Hot Racing plus connect the MIP CVDs to the trans. More to come as time allows... Thanks for posting. I'm interested in seeing how it turns out. I'm doing a build off a Barbarian chassis also. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

Sorry everyone for the late updates. We recently moved and I had surgery which put me out for a while and basically had me limited to just staying in bed. However here's some updates to the build. Unlocked the diffs, installed the RC4WD steering links, got the axles trans shocks sway bars drive shafts all mounted. Only problem I've ran into is when I bought the axles they didn't come with the hex hubs. Gonna get some from my local hobby shop within a week or two. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

x2 I would like to know also. even though ill probably run a 1/8 buggy system in mine on a 4600 4s lipo. and how tall is the chassis from belly pan to the the 2nd rail from the top? I have freestyle rc axles and transmission. looking for a chassis that can accommodate the trans with little drilling. my force chassis is an inch short. |

Not much else has gone on with the build. Just got a little bit of juice in today. Big shoutout to Fast Lap Hobby on the speedy delivery. Got it in less than 2 days. Next delivery should be my charger. Went with the Hitec X2. Price and features (Wifi adapter mainly) sold me on this charger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yeah it has a wifi adapter you can buy that will allow you to control/monitor your batteries while they charge. That adds peace of mind for me since this is my first venture into the Lipo world and usually I'm chasing my kids around lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I was doing some goofing around last night with the truck just getting ideas while I wait on my body to come in. I may just have to buy two more body's for the truck after seeing how the USA1 paint scheme looked. Took it off my Stampede so of course it looks kinda small lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yeah me too. If I could find it again I'd probably run one that fits the Barbarian chassis better Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
