Looneybins Mega Blazer #II "Lil'Cocky" 1 Attachment(s) Well im building this to loosely mimic my 1:1 blazer which i have been building over the past year or so. Some may remember me building some other blazers over the years and the hobby finially grew into the real thing. Anyway wanted something to play around with at the bogs and make people laugh. Scx10, vaterra blazer shell, rc4wd mud bashers, strc lift kit, ar60s, gmade 103mm piggybacks, and more to come. Not sure on the wheels and for now it will have the stock axial electronics. Caint wait for the parts to finnish rolling in. |
Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer "Lil'Cocky" 1 Attachment(s) Still got a list of stuff to finish but its getting there. |
Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer "Lil'Cocky" 1 Attachment(s) ... |
Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer "Lil'Cocky" 1 Attachment(s) Had some one cut out the centers and me and my brother built the wheels. Its been a big learning experience and a lot of fun. Me and him built it all in the back yard and everything was done hard way. |

Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer "Lil'Cocky" 1 Attachment(s) Got some stuff. |
Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer "Lil'Cocky" 1 Attachment(s) Probably going to swap to a barbarian chassis. |

Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer "Lil'Cocky" Can't wait for this, sounds similar to my build. Even with the ar60's I suggest slw rims so you can play with the width. I have .850's on mine. Are you planning on fabricating a cowl for the hood? Maybe 3D print some wheels like your 1.1's. Great start, love the full size. |
Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer "Lil'Cocky" 1 Attachment(s) Yea i really wanted to run txts but i dont think the steering angle would be suitable. I dont plan to go all crazy with this one. Not too worried about the cowl hood cause it will just get broke cause its going to flip for sure. I wish i could get a set of wheels made but i think i will be settling for some existing wheels. Either way it will be a simple truck cause i want it durable. My last mega blazer got a little out of control lol |
Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer "Lil'Cocky" 1 Attachment(s) The old truck. I actually sold it to buy the first components for building the huge lift on the 1:1 |
Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer "Lil'Cocky" Nice! I was confused at first cause I remembered you building another sweet mud rig. This one will be awesome too. |
Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer #II "Lil'Cocky" 1 Attachment(s) You sure you gotta settle on wheels.........;-) Made a quick example of what you could get8) Attachment 347448 |
Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer #II "Lil'Cocky" Sonuva b!7@? You know how to hook a guy. Shoot me a pm on a price for a set and how hard would it be to do them in 2.8? |
Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer #II "Lil'Cocky" ^Thats badass |
Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer #II "Lil'Cocky" 1 Attachment(s) Got the strc lift kit in and picked up my stuff to make links. Going with full interior in this thing now. Waiting on my SPI aluminum rims to show up and a special set of replica rims from Joshs4x4toys that i cant wait to get my hands on. |
Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer #II "Lil'Cocky" 1 Attachment(s) Havnt nailed down the ride height or shock towers yet. Got to get the wheels in and see how the offsets gonna look. The SPI rims are super wide offset. |
Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer #II "Lil'Cocky" 1 Attachment(s) Threw my clod body on for $hits and giggles. Lol |

Re: Looneybins Mega Blazer #II "Lil'Cocky" Looking good with both bodies. I ran my shocks straight to the frame and with vp titanium honcho links reconfigured I was able to match the wb of my rc4wd blazer and clear the ar60's with the axles clocked almost straight with the trans. Rear honcho junfac shaft and front dingo junfac shaft. 100mm shocks with wraith limiters, but may raise the shocks to drop it down some. I'm keeping a close eye on this to help me out since my builds are never finished. Great job. |
