I can weigh up my Brawlers and Destroyers tonight when I get home. I also have RC4WD B&H tires on Brawler wheels and can weigh them up too!!

Now I just have to weight the stock setup to see the difference.

The stock Axial 2.2 wheels and BKT tires weigh 9.80 ounces.

I wasn't planning on it, but I'm not leaning towards getting the JConcepts Tribute wheels and either the Firestorms or Renegades now that I realize the weight difference is so slight. I do realize all that extra leverage might cause havoc on the axles.

I'm just not sure if I want silver or white wheels and I was leaning towards Firestorms, but the Renegades have me thinking they will grip the grass much better.

I'm going with Tributes and Rumbles on all of my trucks as soon as Tower gets Tributes in stock.

Why RC4WD Rumbles over JConcept's Renegades?

Already own several sets of Rumbles, they are proven winners, and RC4WD is a terrific sponsor.

I ordered JConcepts Tribute wheels and Firestorm tires. I wasn't into the big tire look on the SMT10, but it grew on me.

I assume I'll be breaking more parts now. Who makes the strongest CVDs for the AR60 axles?

I've read less than impressive things about the Vanquish VVDs. No shocker there. Did your Bomber also destroy the Axial universals?

Never got to run them in the bomber, sold it a few months back. My buddy Ed has them in his bomber and hasn't had an issue. He is running a open front diff tho.

I see a lot of people, if not most people, are breaking the front Axial stub shafts and/or bending the rear axles when installing Clod-sized tires. So I am going to have to upgrade the front axles and possibly the rear axles or get Beef Tubes or a metal axle housing. I'm considering my options at the moment and open to suggestions.

I use the axial front CVDs and creeper Bob titanium rears. Metal housings too. No issues. Open diffs on both.

Clamping hexes help with the stubs breaking. Forgot to mention that.

Which axle housings are you using?

I don't see a reasoning for that. Can you explain why?

I ordered a bunch of stuff last night to make my AR60 axles stronger to handle the JConcepts Tribute wheels and Firestorm tires. I got aluminum Beef Tubes for strength without much added weight, Axial universals, STRC rear lock-outs, and STRC trailing arm aluminum support plates. I haven't gotten upgraded rear axles yet.

Do you guys have experiences with the CBRB Fab titanium rear axles?
