What made you go with UD gears? That Dinky servo mount/truss is interesting. |

I had them and they have the best mesh. Hoping they hold up better to the bigger tires.

I've been using one of the s-links on my wraith for years and have had a few sitting around waiting for a build. I always wanted to do something 4WS so this is where they ended up.

Here's a better shot. I had trim it a little for the vanquish bomber link mounts. ![]() |

It's a runner. I messed up a sway bar so I'm waiting for a replacement. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Rjohn929; 12-01-2016 at 07:18 PM. |

So my maiden run proved to be too much for the front servo. Bumped a rock and no more steering. Less then 30 seconds out. I think it's a broken pin but I'm not going to take it apart, just going to send it back. Edit After taking it apart I found a bad servo arm but the servo seems to be binding a little. Maybe a bent pin? I'll use it for now and see what happens. Last edited by Rjohn929; 12-04-2016 at 01:08 PM. |

Quick paint and some stickers and it's done for now. ![]() ![]() |

So far so good. Feels very similar to the Holmes 3500xl. Really hard to beat for the price. I haven't used it all that much yet. Weather here this week has been less then favorable.

So that didn't last long. Vanquish aluminum housings have been ordered. Also going to remove the rear steer. It's fun and authentic but not necessary. I also would rather destroy one servo at a time instead of two. ![]() |

I have the trusses on a set of axles for a future build and I have had them in the past. I'm giving them another chance but I still don't like them.

Beef tubes is enough, never had a failure on a MT or Wraith.

Yup, my wraith axles have been strong for many years with them. I'm sure I'll be fine with the Vanquish axles though.
