Hello, new to the site, been checking it out for a few days and I decided to join.

I have an SMT10 that I bought couple months ago and I use a 3s battery.

The upgrades I have on it are

JConcept Renegades on Black Tribute wheels
Jolly Roger flag ( not really an upgrade )
LED angel eyes headlights. I tried for the iconic Grave Digger lights look (no dice)
Hot Racing green carbon fiber graphite links.
Hitec HS-7955TG servo (my stock one fried)
Hot Racing green steering link
Hot Racing Aluminum flag mount (elastics sucked)

Cool, I'm looking to build one too. Are you running the stock axial motor?

Yes I am, I'm going to run that stock till I can upgrade the transmission gears, driveshafts and at least the front axle

Has anyone used hobbywing ezrun b6 combo? Would it be good for my SMT10?

The picture doesn't show for me.

I believe that motor is a 2-pole. You want a 4-pole for a monster truck IMO.

Get one of these motors: RC Gear Shop Sensorless Brushless Motors

and one of these ESCs: https://www.hobbywingdirect.com/prod...iant=214141370

That's the combo I have in my one SMT10. It's faster and smoother than my Castle SCT combo that I have in my AX10 monster truck.

Thanks, I'm glad I didn't buy it, I just messaged my hobby store to see if they have them items you mentioned. If they have it then it will save me the Canadian duty fees and wait. Appreciate the help.
