Talking Kyosho Madforce Hydraulic brakes WIP

Hello guys
I always wanted to install hydraulic brakes on my mad force because i always found them cool maybe is something too much but for the LRP ZR.30 i think are must have
Is still work in progress
Here some pics

cutting out the plastics that are in the way

making space for the calipers

drilling holes on the base

drilling holes on the calipers

somehow finished the place of the caliper

I noticed that i will have problem with the pipe connector on the caliper...and the gear....

obviously is too long
So i replaced the connector and the red screw like this and tested it to see if it works and worked like a charm

UPDATE

Today was the day to find a place for the pump and the servo....was really hard to find a way to put them....took me many hours to figure it out how to put them without to remove anything but i couldn't....
I came up in the end with this...
I have to move the receiver box and some other stuff a lil' bit
but is ok i think

then i had to make the linkages for the pump and the servo....

servo, pump and caliper placed

I still have to make a new disk brake because the stock one is too small and the disk of the GTB kit are too big

Here is the brake assembled

As my first hydraulic system i had to learn how to fill it with oil correctly and how to bleed it to remove the air and the bubbles from the lines, it took me 1-2 day but i did it

When i will find time i will make a video with it in action

Also here is a test video

Thanks guys
So far as i know is the 1st 1/8 with hydraulic brakes, at least on internet

Ofc i have to fix a lot on this mod.

So for sure i gotta make my own brake disc, bigger diameter cause this brake disk is very small.
I noticed that the pads start to lose material in a not good way xD

What i mean:

Let's say that my brake pad is this.

The stock big disks can cover the whole surface of the pads (look the marked red surface)

The disk from mad force can cover this surface (look the marked red surface), with result to created a deeper spot only at the red zone.
I suppose after a while when i brake the pads will close but the red part will be hollow so it wont brake at all.
Sorry for my poor English explanation

Also i have to make better mounts for the caliper for sure.

Also i was thinking to add a small cooler for the brake fluid cause i noticed that the disk become pretty hot.
probably i will use a fuel cooler like this one

Also I'm working on hydraulic steering mod
