I've been wanting to pick this up for a while, and finally pulled the trigger. Interesting thing is that I also recently got a CMX. Due to the fact that the MTX-1 shares quite a bit of parts with the CMX... it's a plus. ![]() |

I'm freaking jealous! I can't wait to see what you think of it. I just ordered a CMX RTR for $170 shipped on AMain because they're clearing them out. |

![]() I'll probably look into some of the CMX hop-ups for the MTX-1. ebay has done me good with coupons recently... ![]() Well... to tell you the truth... I don't discriminate.... I like anything that catches my eye and have a car/truck from most of the major players. Last edited by soze; 04-12-2018 at 04:15 PM.

I wish we had shows like the Fall Guy now. That show was awesome.

Back on topic, I've seen pics of these trucks with Jconcepts clod-sized wheels and tires and it's a pretty good look. Just in case you're looking for somewhere to put another $100 ![]() EDIT: here's one ![]() Last edited by TooOldForThis; 04-13-2018 at 07:05 AM.

Regarding the clod tires.... I do have an extra set doing nothing right now. I originally bought them to mount on my Tamiya TXT-2 that I still haven't built! ![]()

Also have a kit on the way that will take priority for attention... I'll post about it when I get it in hand.

So... I added the Traxxas Bigfoot Classic body to the MTX-1. Looks so much better and more proportionate than the stock body. This is how the OG Bigfoot should have been built. Fantastic looking truck. Wayne |

YES! man i hope your new employer gives you more $ and shorter days... you are going to be BUSY! this truck is great and i cant wait to see the "other" thing you picked up at the ebay sale. this truck is pretty much what they had in mind when they recently made "retro bigfoot" with the old body on a new modern chassis. weather or not that was your intent, it worked great! |

That other thing might be canceled if it turns out to be the kit instead of the RTR (Bruiser clone). I already have a New in box Bruiser and Mountain Rider.... so I was only looking for something that I could customize with the controller included to see how the controller is. Waiting for seller response.
