Default Gray Area round 2

So i built a mid sized MT awhile back. No build thread on it but i still have a few pictures. Bigger than a tlt but smaller than a smt10. Fun truck to drive for sure.

Anyways, i wanted to build another but make it a little more..... Cartoonish.

Redcat gen 7 pro axles
2.2 destroyers on rpm stampede revolvers
Dromida 1/18 mt body
Loosi night crawler trans with forward motor mod
Shorty battery pack
Brushed integy 45t
And if i can score one.. A 3s xl5.

The original i built had xr10 wide mod ax10 axles with rc bros burly aluminum tubes. Same trans but without the forward mod.

I like that. Simple chassis, but effective!

I like it. It's kinda like putting a pair of 10 bolts under a Samurai, in any other application, they'd be considered weak, but under a tiny chassis/body, it's suddenly appropriate.

thanks guys. i just had the idea and started slappin stuff together. might make some kits for stampede bodies and scx10 axles. they are the perfect size for 2.2's.

im working on the battery mount at the moment. i think im going to just use some aluminum stock for the motor plate spacers. ive got some red aluminum spacers leftover from my super cheap trail truck.

i miss those old k2 reign chassis... thats what im loosly basing these chassis off of. just super simple tech.
