Shock upgrade for SMT10?
 

Hi all, I want to replace the stock leaking shocks on my SMT10. Also wanting to go a bit lower. Maybe 100mm. Any recommendations?

The most popular aftermarket option seems to be the ProLine Powerstroke XT. Spring choices are limited though with the ones that come with the shocks being too stiff. Some guys report using Losi springs but i think those are still on the higher end for spring rates. I'm still running the stock shocks because they have a bunch of spring options. I just put on some slightly stiffer rears. My shocks leak as well, but i can usually get about 4 or 5 packs through then add 2 or 3 drops of oil.

For ride height, you can play around with shock mounting location to raise or lower also.
