Jconcepts tribute hex replacement So I, hopefully?, am not alone but the tribute wheels have fallen off a time or two. While entertaining it has left a few of the hex adapters chewed out and while they still work at the moment I know that won't last. I'm curious what people have done to replace them. I found these on ebay but they dont mention the bolt pattern for the wheel so while I think they'd be perfect I dont know if it's worth the chance. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F223502440811 Sent from my SM-N960W using Tapatalk |
Re: Jconcepts tribute hex replacement The bolt pattern for the Tribute wheels is a much larger circle than SLW hubs (and similar Chinese hubs). Jconcepts makes aluminum hubs but only in the +25mm size, if you are using the smaller offset hubs then I'm not sure what other options are out there. |
Re: Jconcepts tribute hex replacement I put the jconcepts 25mm aluminum hex adapters on my Tribute wheels. Haven't had a problem since. I put blue loctite on the axle threads so the wheel nut doesn't fly off. https://www.amainhobbies.com/jconcep...oaAtfUEALw_wcB Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk |
Re: Jconcepts tribute hex replacement I just saw these from RC4WD... These wheels with aluminum hexes are $10 more than what just the aluminum hex adapters from JConcepts cost. If i didnt already buy a pair of the aluminum adapters i would probably have just done the wheels from RC4WD! https://store.rc4wd.com/Racing-Monst...er_p_7600.html |
Re: Jconcepts tribute hex replacement Sorry to revive an old post but we have worked out a 3d print for the hex adatpers since no aftermarket solutions are available. I'm testing them now and once a final fitment is done the file will be posted publicly for everyone to use https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6034a45397.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...cdb6a43b86.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...affd3b0fe2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...7f5c3cd3f3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...eb39f2dd95.jpg Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk |

As for durability I've been bashing my truck on them for about a week and a half and doing some tricky sticky crawls and then seem to be holding up fine. But it also depends what you have them printed from. But metals are backordered so even when they arrive the stock instantly goes dry. If you wanna buy a set email me Hammergunner@yahoo.com Only take paypal payment via goods and services and a verified shipping address. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk |
