Default Jconcepts tribute hex replacement

So I, hopefully?, am not alone but the tribute wheels have fallen off a time or two. While entertaining it has left a few of the hex adapters chewed out and while they still work at the moment I know that won't last. I'm curious what people have done to replace them. I found these on ebay but they dont mention the bolt pattern for the wheel so while I think they'd be perfect I dont know if it's worth the chance.

The bolt pattern for the Tribute wheels is a much larger circle than SLW hubs (and similar Chinese hubs). Jconcepts makes aluminum hubs but only in the +25mm size, if you are using the smaller offset hubs then I'm not sure what other options are out there.

I put the jconcepts 25mm aluminum hex adapters on my Tribute wheels. Haven't had a problem since. I put blue loctite on the axle threads so the wheel nut doesn't fly off.

I just saw these from RC4WD... These wheels with aluminum hexes are $10 more than what just the aluminum hex adapters from JConcepts cost. If i didnt already buy a pair of the aluminum adapters i would probably have just done the wheels from RC4WD!

Sorry to revive an old post but we have worked out a 3d print for the hex adatpers since no aftermarket solutions are available.

I'm testing them now and once a final fitment is done the file will be posted publicly for everyone to use

Very cool! I'm still waiting for my Tributes to arrive but I assume i'll have similar issues, and the aluminum adapters Jconcepts sells are pricey ($50 for all 4 wheels.)

I don't have a 3D printer so i may have to buy from you (if you are making selling any) once i get my wheels.

You won't have any issues with the aluminum adapters. I bought them for my truck and I've had zero. You are right in that $50 for four is a little pricey. I do hope that these 3D printed adapters are more durable than the OEM plastic adapters that come with the Tributes as they are like soft butter.

Yes I had 5 sets made and I'm selling those $15 a set plus shipping to wherever you need um.

As for durability I've been bashing my truck on them for about a week and a half and doing some tricky sticky crawls and then seem to be holding up fine.

But it also depends what you have them printed from.

But metals are backordered so even when they arrive the stock instantly goes dry.

If you wanna buy a set email me

Hammergunner@yahoo.com

Only take paypal payment via goods and services and a verified shipping address.
